300/440/550 Had a possible overheating incident

Okay story is basically I took out my newly modded js550. I just re cyliconed the pump. I went out, it was screaming but I realized no water was coming outta the exhaust. It smelt funny. Opened my hood and there was tons of steam and my pipe sleeve was on fire. As well as my gaskets were melted through the exhaust.

Not happened at this point, I realized that my coolent line became loose so the motor had no coolent in it.

The engine was able to idle still, has kinda an issue reving up but didnt seem to do anything else funny

Now I pulled off the head and noticed that threre was some water in the pistons. I did not notice any significant scoring and there seems to be the same amount of compression from both pistons when I pulled the spark plugs

Can this be as simple as replacing all the gaskets? or will should there be other issues. I did not ride the ski longer than 4 minutes.... probably less than that

Did a compression test, after taking everything off. Its 96lbs

The ski 85 js 550.

Okay, so I pulled it apart and nothing really seemed to be an issue. After correctly torquing the head I got 135 psi in BOTH pistons. Now I have put it all together. New issue: When starting it fires, once it does it instantly dies. It turns over for one second and the starter seems to release and keep spinning. Ugh, its one thing to another.
