Hamstring Tendonitis

Anyone get over hamstring tendonitis with more pointed workouts related to stand ups? I've had left hamstring tendonitis for years, then I had hip & pelvic surgery and it has continually gotten worse. I haven't worked out in years, and now that left hammy and glute are much smaller than my right from favoring that side. Riding makes it so much worse, so, trying to see if anyone else has a workout/stretch/supplement program that worked?

Sauna, ice baths, and you might try carnivore diet for 3 months (this will help with inflammation) Other then that google and see what others are doing and try it. If it doesn't work try something else and continue until you find something that works.

I went carnivore for nearly a year back when I was racing and had a real life before the surgery. Inflammation reduction was great, but damn meat is expensive haha. Still had issue with the hammy then, but not near as bad. Guess most of my issues are the muscle wasting over the last three years.

We've got a new CNC machine and thinking of building a cold plunge, so I'll have to push on the project some more. Tried ice bags in a stock tank, but it was in the summer with hose water and that gets expensive quick too.

I wonder if you could use a chest freezer or fridge and fill it halfway with water then just leave it plugged in. For muscle wasting are you able to do any excersies? Even stretching should help some with muscle retention.

Yeah, the chest freezer is an option we researched. They're a little clunky, and we'd love to develop our own setup that actually circulates since we have the tools. Maybe even offer them for sale if it works well.

I've started stretching and doing light weightlifting over the last month with very slow progress... I was mosty curious if anyone has actually beaten the tendonitis with focused workouts that didn't harm. The last time I tried to lift weights (about 1.5 years ago) I think I lifted too much and made it way worse. To the point it only is starting to feel better now and I can adjust my gait to be.. more normal? Maybe I'm just being a cry baby and need to jump on a ski more, just wary of my hip surgery haha.

Better to take it easy and slowly work your way into it. Might also look into some peptides to help with healing. Just make sure you get them from a reliable source.
