Handlebar help

Hey guys, have another newb issue haha.

I have my first order of parts coming in next week so i have my ski ripped apart in anticipation, but i need some tips!

I started cranking on the bolts holding the bars to the steer plate, and i can't get them to budge? I sprayed them with some wd too and still nothing. I'm worried if i keep cranking on them i'm gonna strip one.........any handyman tips?

sweet that was easy enough. one other question for anyone in canada, where do you buy dap weldwood contact cement?

I've checked canadian tire, rona, home depot, and walmart and NOBODY has heard of the stuff?

i just did 2 skis last winter with some stuff with a kind of adhesive i use in refrigeration and worked amazingly and was easier to work with than contact cememt if ur interested i can let ya know where ya can get it works amazingly on the turf and underpad, good to hear of some more guys up here doing up some skis

nice i'd love to hear what you used and where to get it.

yea i actually have a couple of buddies that picked up skis this year, we mostly ride out at jackfish cause my parents have a lakefront cabin out there.

and im the gineau pig being the first one to throw some holds on my ski haha, not to worried tho. I actually read your thread on the REVS, i got the same holds. Are you happy about how far back you put them? Also, i'm a little concerned with the profile as you can't screw/rivet all the edges, mostly just the front top of each hold, have you had any issues with yours?

sweet ya fairly happy with the revs but find they aren't as deep as i thought they would be, i'm very happy with how far back they are, i really wish that i would have put a kick plate at the back of the tray and probably still will. did ya buy sheets of turf? and as u saw in my pics i riveted the front of the holds in with stainless rivets and then the whole back i used many layers of glass and sanded forever, it's a super time consuming thing to do but the result when it comes to riding is totally worth it, rode last year at jack fish alot but my parents have a cabin at wabamun so we ride there lots.
the glue is armaflex glue from a place called independant supply in town, rode all season with no issues held perfect.
if ya like let me know when ur starting it and i'll give ya a hand help things go a little smoother if ya like it's good times workin on this stuff

that would be so dope. i'm actually just starting tonight, cutting and :):):):), and having nothing but problems. just fried my dremel and headin to princess auto to get another haha.
