300/440/550 Has anybody used or seen this freakin 550 DUAL pipe?!

Yeah it legit,Dg had a short foray into the watercraft business,they still make dirt bike and atv parts.Twin pipes were not that great and made working on the ski a real bear,I would not expect any type of performance gain with those pipes.

yeah, thats a dycorp. mariner, & kerker, made dual pipes too. i don't think any of them worked real good. they do look cool though.

I think they are great if you like removing exhaust pipes to do any type of work on your ski,other than that they are just bling.

Alright thanks alot i agree the dual fatty pipes are just screaming bling. but For how much i tear into my ski im feelin pretty good with out the extra pipe.

Yeah a pair of these will surface from time to time and then the great debate wil be on......

I still think for simplicity's sake a single is better on the 550.

Now if TBM wanted to "give" me a set of 800 SXR duals... of course I would take them off their hands... but then again I don't own an 800 SXR so... oh well!

I want a completely CNC machined from billet engine... (cases, cylinder, head, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, carbs, head pipe....) is that too much? lol

There are a lot more choices availble for single and twin pipe setups on snowmobiles. From what little I know about the snowmobile pipes they are only an advantage over 7000 rpm. So if that is the case with all two strokes then it really isn't a big advantage unless you race.
