Version one of mine. This is built on a Diamondback HD truck bed cover and uses their ATV ramps with wood rails and a deck so I didn't have to modify the cover or ramps.
Heavy, but works. Version two is in progress.

Dual HD.jpg

Just a prototype of our dual hauler ... can ONLY be used with a class 5 hitch receiver which comes on 2016 and newer HD trucks ( i believe) . This is a 2 piece design so that it will break down into two separate carries if needed. Before you say its too much weight ect .. its been tested in the field for a lengthy amount of time and the only revision we have made so far is to move the rear ski about 6" closer to the front ski ( less worry )

I would give the disclaimer to check local laws since most states limit how far your load can extend from the vehicle.

yeah I looked into local laws and there are many ATV carriers out there that do pretty much the same thing that we're doing here as far as length and all that would be required as a red flag on the end of the farthest point of whatever you're carrying. again this was just one state patrol officer I spoke with

What is the tongue weight conversion with the length and weight of the 2 skis currently on it?
