I wish the website would send a reminder to me when my yearly 10 dollars is due. Is there any way the mods might be able to make that happen for members?

i have no problem spending 10 dollars a year for all the info and entertainment I get off this website!

Guys, our sport is small enough. Let's not make it where they don't want to come on this site at all. We come here to get all our news and feedback. The least they should do is actually support the x with the $10 though. I think you'll see some vendors stop posting and disappear from the x

Where else would they go? I think Watcon is the only vendor I have ever seen through google searches.

Most sites I'm on require vendors to pay. Usually around 150-250 a yr. Seems fair. I know a few on here have made a lot more than that.

Define vendor.
Is it DASA? (They aren't on here)
Is it Joe Schmoe selling some bilge switch he makes in his free time?

Jetmaniac
Thrust
Rad dudes
OCD
A/M hull builder
Etc..

Then you have the guys that list up dozens/hundreds of jetski parts..

Honestly I would rather they don't gey charged a fee to help keep prices down. But most forums charge a yearly fee.

Vendor is anyone who's selling new products on the site, wholesale, for profit, or ones they make.

They won't leave. Not the ones you would want to buy from. They would stay. You would see less crap being made and sold also.

I can't stand posting a wanted thread and 10 guys that resale stuff for companies pm the piss out of me offering stuff for new prices or even higher. Like I'm stupid. It would end that.

Telling me vendors can afford 8k hulls, but not 200 bucks to support their business? Bs.

. People are allowed to sell used items without a vendors license. The little guy. Who's just trying to get some cash for more parts. Not his business.

I've only posted one WTB thread and I told the ones that I didn't want, "No Thank You." Some may have been more annoying than others and used Yamaha parts seem to fetch way too high of prices in my opinion, but that is what you get with a WTB thread. Posting a WTB is showing a higher demand, which brings higher prices. Keep an eye on For Sale threads or talk to locals or find a ski to part out and you will come out a little better.

I think a lot of the vendors that I like would leave if they had to pay a fee to be on this site. A lot of them are just doing it to help supplement the cost of the sport and put way more money into just one of their skis than they make from this site. Thanks to this thread I finally decided to pay $10 though.

You posted in the want to buy, and then bitch when people PM you with the stuff you wanted to buy? Either haggle with them or say no. Or state in your thread, "no PM's"

If the owners don't want vendors to pay its on them. It would improve the site tho. If you think the big vendors don't make a lot of money, your mistaken.

Ive almost always put in my wanted ads in looking for used parts with used prices. Doesn't stop them. Not really a big deal but annoying.

Joe Schmo with a welder making stuff is cool sometime. Seems more than not on this site it's not. Maybe I look at it different because I had my own business for quite some time and wouldn't have expected free advertisement. To each his own I guess.
