Having BIG problems

ok got the 44s on,no fuel leaks, took it to the water and it is sucking the rear carb dry and then dying, and the exhaust is putting out fuel and oil,im thinking its a o-ring in the head but could use a little input?
also i screwed up and just ripped all the old fuel lines out and got another check valve for the tank, and (stupid azz me)needs to know is the check valve need to suck air or exhaust air from the fuel tank to keep fuel pressure?

was out looking and thinking, could it be that the primer line is t'd into the rear carb and with no flame arrester its sucking air via thru the primer line into the main fuel line?

i found the problem and it was the primer sucking air......took it back out and 44s rock..................................:djsmilie:

Run your primer tee on the return line to prevent ANY CHANCE of sucking air. There is usually enough fuel sitting in the return line to get it started.... if not, the fuel pumps will usually fill the return line quickly while cranknig.
