No but I did a year ago.

1) I have a thread in my history where I posted where you could ride.

2) You have to take a cheap college course for certification to ride in Hawaii.

3) Never saw others riding but I heard legends of them existing.

Any specific questions?

I'm in Kona now. Been here for a month and haven't seen a single stand up. A few sxrs on Craigslist though.

Just got back from the maui invitational and I was thinking the same thing, I wanted to ride but couldn't find anyone on the island. The skis on Craigslist are pretty cheap though, almost wanted to buy one for the week and sell it when done, but was only there for 5 days so it didn't seem realistic. Nice beaches though, would have loved to ride there.

I wonder what the laws are on 2 stroke in the surf. I'll bet the locals would be pissed if a haole was tearing up their surf spot on a jetski lol

Probably doesn't happen much since the designated riding zones are few and far between. Talking to a local is definitely your best bet.

I got in touch with one of the people selling an sxr and he used to live in Washington. There is a chance we might meet up he has one sxr and 2 couches. But we're probably gonna resort to surfing and thrashing rental mopeds. Last time we were there we went on zuma's on an abandoned golf course
