I'm going to be trying flat water barrel rolls for real soon, and from what I understand, a helmet protects your ear drums from getting blown out when you land upside down or some such? Either way, everyone says use a helmet, where do you get a helmet? Kayaking helmets don't look like they cover the ears (assuming the above is true), and I'd rather not wear a dirt bike helmet since they're so big and clunky in my opinion and restrain your view a bit. Help please :1zhelp:

Riding with a helmet gives me confidence in committing to tricks. I just know my head can take more of a hit with the helmet. I never ride my standup without it. And my helmet has some pretty good scratches, dings, hull and pole paint on it now.

edit: But it smells like azz lol!
