I know brazina used to make some that looked very similar back around 1995. I don't remember his having the billet tops but maybe the ones I saw were his early style ones.
Its amazing all the recent talk about freestyle versus race carb and you still see happy customers running this type of a carb and in a dual carb application. I no doubt that it runs good because I rode a mod blaster that had a similar set and I thought it ran pretty good.

i have had just about every carb made at some point. these were on a boat i got to part out. just stuck them on my superjet and they ran great. i had to richen the low to mid alittle to get rid of a lean spot when leting off for a corner. up one size on the low speed and 2 psi on the pop off fixed it. i have a few sets of buckshots these work better. the bs dont realy work to well down low. very hard to keep tuned.(weather affects them pretty bad) they due however drink fuel. that is more the ported cylinder . with the stock port motor they were same as the rest of boats i ride with. i have novi 44,s,46,48,s ready to bolt on just didnt try them on this set up. just wanted to freshen up this set.

i run this boat both cc and surf riding. i had a single at one point the dules work the best IMO. you just have to know what your doing jetting wise. tuning a single is easy.(so is a set of dules if you know what your doing lol) it takes time to dial it in.
i am not a fan of big needles and seats and low pop of. you have no control of the fuel.race carb freestyle carb same crap its a carb.
internet is funny 2 or 3 guys use this and everyone has to have it. lol a one point we were looking for stock 38,s ahhh they still suck. and anything bigger is better. lol

Looks like an old (mid '90's) Buckshot carb to me..

Mid 90's Bucks had a purple bell housing.

I am thinking modified by Lamey. Looks like a 50mm up top, hard to really tell by the pics.

There use to be alot of guys modding carbs back in the mid 90's. Maybe ones done by Dan Fitzgerald also.

the dischage on a buckshot is more v shaped. these are a strait tube with a slash cut on the end.
