HELP- PJS Motor Reassembly and Need Head Gasket

Hey fellas,

I'm getting my 750 project back up and running. I pulled the old PJS head and gasket a couple years ago and both were damaged. I got a different head which is a 29cc PJS o-ring. Obviously, the PJS gaskets aren't available. What should I do? I was told to run a stock gasket by someone. Should I do this and run o-rings still? Thank you in advance!

If your head is cut for o-rings just run the proper o ring and spread some 1211 on the remaining mating surfaces. I imagine that would work as that's how the r&d o-ring sxr heads sealed. Give it a shot and test it with a gauge before you go ride it.

My protec seals like user_error mentioned... Oring for compression and 1211 for the water jacket, works fine for me 8+ years
