Help putting sxr 800 in my reed 550??

Okay so I know they sell a mounting bracket kit for the motor so that's easy I got all the parts I need to install the motor eBox you name it the drive shaft everything my only problem is the pump what pump do I use and do they sell a kit for the pump that I need for this to work? Has anybody ever attempted this or done this? I would really appreciate anyone's help my ski now is a beast but I want more power and I can get a great deal on a like new sxr 800 motor that I really want to install in my 550 so please if anybody knows anything on what pump I can run and a mounting bracket I would really appreciate it thanks.

You have a couple options

1. Bullet makes a SXR pump tunnel that can be glasses in
2. Call Rhaas Products and see when he is releasing the 140 pump conversion

Ok thanks guys keep them coming I really appreciate this because the guy is trying to sell the motor and has a lot of people trying to buy it but I want to get it before anybody else. I figured they would have already had a kit for this already but I guess not they're just getting ready to release it it seems like button mounting the motor only 60 bucks for the kids to mount the motor and gearbox and all that other s*** I'm sure I can fit in there somewhere and the drive shaft should work it's just the pump is my only problem.

Yes i have everything coming along great .. I talk to the owner of Rhaas and he is a super nice kind dude that is helping me with everything and has amazing customer support. I will post updates soon with everything .. But i have a crap load of amazing 550 race parts for sale if anyone is looking for anything ?? Dual 38sbn with R&D ported manifold with spacers , reeds with reed spacers , pjs pipe , pjs head, pjs manifold , like new ebox with spare fuse never used inside. KV total loss with ebox, 16.5 440 pump you name it i have it.. I have so many amazing race parts so call me if you are looking to buy any 530 312 0246 i can text pics .. Also I ordered all the other parts to start putting the 800 motor into my ski and removed the 550 motor so the build is getting there.. O Also i have a fresh motor with less then 20 hours on it that is a 440 bottom end with welded crank and 550 reed cylinder that is seriously like new.. i can show you pics to prove it. The head has 180 psi compression also.. ski ran hard.

So call me all work you a killer deal on a fresh rebuild like new motor with all my race parts for a great deal shipped Thanks

After talking To Rhaas he said i didn't have to glass in anything. His bolt in 800sxr pump install kit will be for sale soon and all be using my 440 13/18 pump with PJS bulk head brace tell the new bolt in kit is done and the ski will work with the 440 pump just not like it will with the sxr800 pump but the 750 pump and 800 are very similar pumps and the 550's tray is wide enough to just bolt in the sxr pump and be done. So its just a matter of time tell the parts are ready for sale and being shipped to customers..


I would like to sell the complete package deal everything for $800 dollars and buyer pays shipping and you will have a sweet race ready 550. Call me for more info thanks 530312 0246 Derek...
