Help rebuilding 95sxi jet pump

I am rebuilding my jet pump because one of the bearings failed. i bought the rebuild kit and have the pump out of the ski and all torn down to the impeller. the outer race was stuck to the pump house and i beat it out with a screw driver. My question is do i have to remove the impeller to remove the rest bearings from the shaft. the bearing closest to the impeller is still in tact but the other inner race looks like i got welded to the shaft and i have no clue where to go from here.

To get the bearings off the shaft, the short answer is yes, the impeller is what secures the bearings, bearing spacer sleeve, and seal sleeve to the shaft. The shaft is shouldered (on the end with the flats machined on it). You will need the spline socket tool to get the impeller unscrewed (the threads are right hand as viewed from the impeller snout). See exploded view photo for assembly order and detail. If the inner races are stuck to the shaft, you may have to heat them slightly and use some penetrating lube (use a drift punch, or use an arbor press if you have access to one) -be careful to not bend the shaft.

Hopefully this helps, -feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Excellent, just so you know, there is no need to spend big bucks on the bearings and seals, -find a local bearing shop, -or one online, the bearings are nothing more than double-sealed 6303's, and the seals are NOK AP1348G. Most bearing shops will tell you that they can't cross-reference that seal, -no worries, there are seals available that are exactly the same ID/OD that are rubber-coated with stainless springs that are only 1mm wider in cross section, -and yes, they fit no problem. The bearings are typically less than $6 each, and the seals can be had for around $4 each. Go to home depot for o-rings, -piece of cake, spend all the saved money on fuel. :D
