[SUB]Hey guys im sorry for such a short notice but this ski just fell into my lap a few hours ago.
I havent seen it personally yet but the guy "says" it runs awesome.
From what I got out of the quick conversation, he said the ski is 1990 sx650 with a new paint job and turf, Aftermarket handlebar and throttle(so maybe a quick steer as well??)
has an aftermarket pipe(not sure what kind yet)aftermarket ride plate, impeller and air filter(so maybe a different carb and he just doesnt know?)
and thats all he knew off the top of his head...
Im pretty new to the stand up world. I have an 88 js 550 that i love to play around on. Its not a very powerful ski, it has low compression and hardly any mods.
From the looks of things, getting my old ski to run like a powerful 650 would cost almost as much as just buying this one.
Please help! any comments about keeping my ski or buying the 650 will be greatly appreciated! [/SUB]Listed at $1800, talked him down to $1000[SUB]
Pictures of the 650 should be below. No pics of the engine
