I always use a drill bit on the rivets drill bit will catch inside and break head off rivet

Yep as far as the faded parts go I have no clue try that as seen on TV stuff like new

Lol right I'm sure there's some other stuff, at an auto parts store. Have never ever really looked for any. The purple parts on my rn got faded I just turfed the bond rails

Heat gun works on faded plastics, but be careful!
I've done that with a torch to an older ski. Worked great for a year or two. Now it's worse. But that is a good trick

I restored the plastic fairings on a motorcycle with an equal mix of Boiled Linseed Oil and Acetone.

Ditch the plastics cut in some footholds then turf that tray and done

I just had a buddy in a body shop repaint my plastics, got a new cover for the chin pad from a guy on here. Then made the stickers to put the "High Pivot" letters back on front piece. Ski looks like new. There some special adhesive primer he used before paint to try and get the paint to stick better. Cleared it as well. The rear bumper, under chin pad piece, fire extinguisher box just got restored. Wet sanded the rest of the ski, as well as stock graphics, used some compound and it looks great.
I did most if this in between working on other stuff on the skis.
BTW, I also have a few of the High Pivot stickers left over as well.

Definietly throw some new Turf on.... I had the same issue.... I couldnt take the 90's Pink decals either....
