SX/SXi/SXi Pro Help with 93 750sx

How do you remove the stock chin pad from the ski? I read there are 4 bolts underneath the hand-pole holding it on but i cant seem to locate them. Also, how do you remove the stock purple side pads? Do they just pop off? I cant seem to find anything on the net that explains this very well.

remove the steering mount and the foam and the chin pad screws are underneath that. the purple tray pads are held in by screws of the phillips variety. the purple bumpers around the whole ski on the rail are help on by 8mm acorn nuts

Thank you Billman! How do you get to the screws that hold on the tray pads? If I order the Hydro Turf side pad rail cover kit (http://compare.ebay.com/like/150951483462?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar), would these go right over the factory purple ones or would i need to remove them first?[h=1][/h]

most likely remove old one but they should just be stapled to plastic pieces, There should be little plastic caps that are popped closed over screws, they are at the bottom right above the deck mat.

I dont think the 750 has the little screw caps like the 650. get your heat gun, or steal your girlfriends hair drier. heat it up and gently pull off the stock stuff, clean the glass and glue the new stuff on with contact cement. The 650 has fiberglass backings under the pads. the 750 is glued right to the hull.

have a 93 750sx and pulled the pads off a month ago, 3 philips head on each side
