help with this new website

What's up with this new format for this website? There is not a search bar anywhere? I can't figure out where it is or the benefit of the new way this forum is. How do I search things?

You should just download tapatalk on your phone, it works way better than your browser on your phone with the new format and search is easy to find.

That's a known issue I've been digging into some. Our theme is responsive meaning it adjusts to fit your resolution and some elements disappear or move into a dropdown menu. The search box is one of those that disappears unfortunately. Tapatalk is a great option until I can do something about it.

It's in the same spot as on the computer. It's a symbol instead that opens a menu. It works just like the 3 bars on the left that drop down access to the forums.

Tap the A/A symbol under "alerts"

3 bars left of your name open the drop down for most other functions.

yes, because it condenses the search bar into the A/A symbol. My phone does not do that because I have an iPhone. Your larger android screen can accommodate the feature and expands it when sideways.

We all understand new things can be frustrating, but when a problem can be resolved simply by turning the phone to the side, it shows that you got upset about the change before making an effort to adapt to it. This is just like getting a new ski. The site may handle differently, but functionally it outperforms the previous model. Just be patient with it. It does everything the old server did and more.

That symbol should not be A/a, that's part of the problem. I'll dig into that.
