So i was riding last week, the ski was running fine (new top end) then it died and wouldn't start back up. brought it home and it took some time but it finally started, then died again after about 30 seconds. i checked the spark and it was very weak and sometimes sparked, other times it did not. so i pulled apart the ebox and wiped the connections down, put it back together and it fired back up but died when i gave it throttle. now it wont start. spark looks weak, and sometimes does not spark at all. battery is brand new. new plugs. not sure where to go from here....any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Check your stator. Its located right behind the flywheel. Clean it off and check for any frayed wires

Check flywheel key - probably broken - I have seen same - same symptoms on 300sx. Spark weak or intermittent.

I have the same issue now, weak and intermittent spark. I checked the everything under the fly wheel cover. The key and keyway are in proper condition. The magnets on the flywheel are not broken. The exciting coil on the stator seems to be okay and check out to spec. at 204 ohms. My igniter coils both check out to spec at 6.3k ohms (I bought an extra used one). I am not sure where to check next. I get a back fire through the exhaust here and there but other than that I just cant seem to identify the issue. Do I need to try a brand new stator and or igniter coil?

Oh, when I did take off the flywheel cover, it was cracked. So some moisture was in there which leads me to believe my stator could still be bad even though it checks to spec.
