This should be pretty simple but the rear spot in the engine compart that open wont let the hose go high enough in the hood and its right next to the air intakes on the hood and the only other small spot is between the fuel tank and flywheel... i should have the hose go from as far up in the hood as possible to the bottom of the hull, correct? you guys have any ideas that im not seein?

did you mod the hood liner or is it still stock? if you modded it just put two hoses in between the flywheel cover and the gas tank.

make sure the hoses go close to the bottom of the hull.... if they are short they will dump water right on your flame arrestors.

id just put them up front but make sure you drill the holes for the tubes on the sides of the channel in the hood for the pole.

that way you have plenty of room to raise the tubes up inside the hood liner.

here is a pic of my buddy's square... we just did the hood mod right before daytona and i was in a rush so i never took any pics.

we looked at my roundnose hood and just drilled two holes with the holesaw in the center, then realized that the hood liner was too close to the channel in the hood for the pole so we moved them to the outside and re glassed the holes.
