The coolest part about this site for me is some of the threads where someone is trying something new and being creative. I love seeing pictures of other peoples projects and the ideas they've come up with for trick little mods on their skis. There are some great threads about people wanting to build new parts. Some people have made their own ride plates, and even their own hulls! I have all kinds of ideas for different skis and people look at me like I'm crazy, so when I read threads like the one about a Standup/Flat deck VXR, I feel right at home here on the X! This site inspires me to want to come up with cool new products for skis.
So... how about we post pics about the mods we've come up with or just trick little ideas, or even new innovations for our skis to keep us all motivated to keep working on new ideas or improve on an old one!
Next to a thread about making an entire hull this might look a bit simple and lame, but it was cheap-
I modded my turn plate to put moto x style bars on my ski. They are several inches wider than the old ones. Also, I got bored and decided to make my own foot holds that go as far down the side of the tray as possible. And last but not least, my buddy had carbon fiber nose pieces made with no holes in them like the stock ones.
