I have a blowsion JK freeride hood and it is starting to seperate. Anybody have this problem and or know a way to fix?

Should I sand it and put some resin on it and clamp it. Then hope it works or is there a stronger way to fix?

scuff it as good as you can, put some J-B Weld on it and clamp it, should hold fine. Just don't use the quick-set type... not as strong.

I'd use a product more appropriate for fiberglass, like thickened epoxy resin. But I will admit I've never JB Weld on glass.

so try J-B Weld first and if i crack it open again go with the resin? All in favor of this plan say I.

I'd just do it right the first time and save myself extra work and aggravation.

and right is resin correct? a little worried about it because there is not a lot of surface area for the bond

come on people... epoxy resin alone has no strength. if using it with glass or carbon of some sort then yes. J-B weld is an epoxy-based "panel bond". and to help prove its tha shiz.... cracked the engine block in my jeep about 20 inches long 3 years ago. cleaned it, scuffed it, J-B welded it.... still good to this day. try that with some resin.
i know it may sound a little off the wall, but i've been doing custom paint/body work for over 20 years and you will be suprised at what you can do with this stuff. and yes, there are other "panel-bond" adhesives that i would also suggest but at @ $40-50 a tube and the price of the "special gun" it takes to use it this is a great/cheap alt. IT WILL WORK!!!
