Hood seal replacement

Going to replace my hood seal but wanted to get an opinion of what product should i use to attach the new seal to my hood. Any other info/tricks regarding hood seals\ keeping water out is appreciated for future knowledge of myself and others. Thanks guys

l like using 3M black weatherstrip adhesive.lts a little stringy,but l haven't had any issues with it.You apply a thin coat to both surfaces,doing a foot or so at a time.lf it does come loose late on,you can just apply a little more to the area and still holds.Used several other glues in the past with varied results.Some guys swear by super glue,but it's a little tricky to work with.Not my favorite

Thanks guy, i assumed super glue but, i also wondered how hard it would be next time it needed replacement. Ill check out the weathersrip adhesive

I used this stuff last year, I think it did alright to keep the water out and the adhesive never let go once. The size I bought if I remember was 3/8 x 5/16. It would be nice if it came in the same width but maybe 5/8 tall but for what it is and at only 15$ a roll, it was more than enough to seal my RN hoodseal groove with a foot or two left over.
