HOOD Seal >>U-channel seal for Hood HELP

I have read thru a couple of threads but havent found anything specific.
I need to seal the actual hood besides my functioning hood seal due to the fact that my hood is shorter...bla bla bla

i am looking for a U-channel Seal which basically attaches to the lip of the actual Hood ( see pic )

Anyone have mcmaster specific part number or other company where i can order this stuff,.

I believe I found one at pep boys a while back but dont remember now.... I may need one as well though....

I use something similar to McMaster #12335A42, but I'm not sure that is the size. I'll try to double check. You can kind of see it in this pic:

that would be exactly what i would be looking for, like in the pic, the mc master number shows the part what seal is that number 1 on the mcmaster pictures above ..??

mee too, I had to elevate and push the oem hood seal inwards , the SN hood is shorter, I measured 3 SN hoods and they all differ in lenght....unfortunatly I already rebuilt the hood with liner and handholds...sigh...so now I need to get it sealed... properly

I couldn't find the number that I actually used. I do believe it was metal lined, so it would be style #1.
