650/X-2 Hood seal/weatherstripping

Hey guys, can anyone tell me if this front end of the under side of my 650sx hood needs the weather stripping like the other sides have.
Is this missing, or does it come like this?

Wether it is suppose to have it or not, if water is getting in, feel free to add some until water stops coming in. You can test your hood by putting a go pro and light inside and doing a sub.

@Vumad no, its not really leaking from what I can see. I rode for a solid 3 hours on sunday and got quite a bit of water over the hood. The amount inside the hull was minimal. I would say between 1/4 and 1/2 inch at times before the bilge was turned on. I think I'll add a strip to the front temporarily to see if it helps some. was just curious the other day when one of the side ones started to unstick, so I added adhesive to that, then I noticed the front didn't have a strip at all. So I'll add and test.

I found 3 other ones on ebay after I posted this, and noticed that all of them DON'T have that piece of weather strip in the front. Curious as to whether its needed there or not.

Post #43 talks about the side pieces. Not sure about the front piece. Left mine at the lake last weekend.

Hey oddballs41 thanks for the reply, yea that's an X2 hood, so although they've got a lot of the same features, not sure if the stripping is exactly the same.

Hey @Jonnyx2 JonnyX2 do you know if the front of the 650sx also needs the weather strip?

My bad. I pulled a hood of a 89 that I have lying around. I see one on the back but not up front.
