Ive been talking to someone that has a 96 superjet for sale. The price is what i was hoping for and sounds good so far. im thinking about going to check it out later this week. I was wondering things i should look for. Im assuming compression, motor mounts, hull damage. Ive never owned a jetski before so any help is appreciated.
On the testing compression topic i know its better to test compression when the engine is warm. Can you test the compression with the engine cold?
One last thing. The owner says he doesnt have a title but has a vin verification from a previous registration. I live in massachusetts and im pretty sure i can register with a bill of sale and previous reg but i just want to double check. Like i said ive never owned a jetski before and just want to try and cover all the bases. Would hate to buy a jetski and then not be able to register it. (i am buying out of state)
