Pierre is already on it. Look up Rise Hulls.Hopefully they are able to find a new hull manufacturer.
Pretty sure Pierre is having the rise hulls built at the old rickter factory, different molds ever so slightly tweaked. I think he is referring to another factory or composite person making the actual rrp hullPierre is already on it. Look up Rise Hulls.
Preach! In the long run, Rick will be better off to sever ties with Thailand. It's been a dysfunctional mess for far too long. What's sad, is seeing the lack of loyalty, integrity, and the true colors of a few players in the game. SMH.
Pierre pretty much persuaded the factory to build his hulls. I don’t know how that happened or what lead to it, but it is what it is.To someone who is totally out of the loop, is Pierre and the Rise brand a 'approved' alternate source of supply or are they copies in bad faith?
Kommanders Hulls are being built somewhere else now. The Factory was owned by the Motzouris's. Motz and Kommander split ways last year. Motz now has Fast Powersports which is making their version of the GP1's.Kommander's Hull Manufacturing Plant/Shop in South Africa could probably build the RRP Hulls to spec.
Rick Roy could contact Steve or the Motzouris Brothers at Kommander...
RRP and Rickter are basically 2 separate companies.Glad they are still going to be around making other stuff at least.
Besides that, There is a pretty nasty lawsuit going on there also. not my place to discussKommanders Hulls are being built somewhere else now. The Factory was owned by the Motzouris's. Motz and Kommander split ways last year. Motz now has Fast Powersports which is making their version of the GP1's.
Not true, Steve. Rick, and his employees designed those moulds. The moulds are Rick's property. Vik was contracted to use these moulds and produce hulls. Vik, and the owner of R*se , in a backroom deal, took these moulds and changed them ever so slightly, slapped some bold new graphics on them, and here we are. It's f*cked up. If I was a dealer in this game, I would be making some hard decisions. But, when I ran my business, and a similar situation occured, I put loyalty and integrity first. It won't be an easy journey for RRP to rebuild and restructure. But, if I know Rick, he will figure out a way.I think,IMO, that VK composites own the rights to the rickter molds. With that said, I think rick r didn't want re new their contract because of $$.
Now, there are a few builders that rely on rickter hulls to make a living so I do not blame them for jumping ship so they can continue providing for their families.
I think the Rise hulls will be the same quality and probably better priced that rickters.
again , that just my opinion
So you're alleging Vik stole the molds? Not true, Steve. Rick, and Rick's employees designed and owns those moulds. Vik was contracted to use these moulds and produce hulls. They are higher priced from what I saw.I think,IMO, that VK composites own the rights to the rickter molds. With that said, I think rick r didn't want re new their contract because of $$.
