I just got my room and I tried for the grand seas resort but it was sold out. If anyone still needs a room, I got one at the la playa hotel right next door. I used orbitz and googled for an orbitz promo code and saved 22%. Just thought I would share incase anyone still needs a room and wants to save a little coin.

That's strange. I just called and there are several rooms still available at the host hotel (Grand Seas)

That is odd, but when I did mine it was all online and online with orbitz said sold out.

i stayed @ laplaya last year nice and has a breakfast buffet
i would stay there again

Yup, called yesterday and got a room, not OF but what do you expect when it's this last minute

i plan to stay at the le playa. we stayed there a few years ago and it was nice enough for us. a lot better then the makai.
checked yesterday. single ocean front is 74 a night. add about 20 a day for fees and taxes. should be there 16-20

What was the promo code for orbitz???

The one I used was "cheers" not sure when it expires but if you google " orbitz promo codes" it will show other savings if that one is expired.

Yes they do, I think we had to pay for it last year.
