I've made some progress today... The wife and Matthew went to DC to visit Aunt K. and I was able to make some major progress on the skis. No distractions, had everything needed in the garage. She started right up (well, need to adjust the idle).

Still have to turf and reinstall the hood seal, install the pump, and run cooling lines, adjust throttle and steering, and tune. Major stuff was done the weekend of the (June) 23rd. Installed the waterbox, int. bearing, motor mounts, tie downs, and pole. Last night I got the starter and e-box wired up. Today got the engine in, b-pipe installed, and gas tank in. Filled up, ran some temp cooling lines, and fired it up.

Going to finish getting the blaster motor together, and hopefully by Friday be able to drop it in. I still need some parts for the blaster, but it will be nice to have one fully operational ski. :splatt:

The fan was actually on, though it was pointed to the trailer where I was working. I moved the fan as I went to grab the camera.

It will be nice to be able to do some work in A/C; I am using an extra shelving board to protect the table. The white under that flywheel cover is paint on the shelf.

Sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque wrench, and a radio.


JK... Bulk of em are Craftsman, but I have a Crescent set I take with me to the water. It's actually a nice good quality set. Some specialty stuff are the big names.
