Tray Time usually fixes it. i put 1 washer under the each side of the front of my ride plate, and 3 washers on each side in the back. that made a huge difference for me. I'm 6'1"-185lbs. a shorter handle pole or turn plate will help u keep the front end down. D cutting the ride plate takes the pressure off the nose, causing it to porpoise even more.

I will try putting some washers under the ride plate and see if that makes a difference this weekend when i take it out. Really will d cutting the ride plate make that much of a difference? I am 160 pounds 6ft

To stop your ski from bouncing then you want to have the longest ride plate available. "D" cutting your ride plate lessens the plaining area of the plate which causes the tail end to sink, or ride nose high. This is an ideal set up for surf riding as you want the ski to ride nose high so you won't bury the nose when coming off a wave. However it also causes the ski to bounce or porpoise more at higher speeds. Since you live in Anaheim, its best to have one of each. A short plate for surf riding and a long plate for carving around on flatwater.

dont d-cut your plate to get the nose down, that will make it worse. Also tubbies are a great addition to your ski but will not add any nose pressure, you actually loose a little. Tray time is key to getting the nose to stay down, also they make hull extensions that will really keep the nose down. They are great for racers since they make it turn on a dime and keep the nose planted. I have a used set if you want them.

I'll go with tray time & Body english... never had a problem with my 93 750 sx porposing over the years with my weight ranging from 175 to 190lbs

What ride plate and intake grate & prop are ya running?

Just get out and wring it's neck some more... J.

Edit: on my 95 sxi with the only handling mods being aquavein and ac pole I don't notice any issues keeping the nose down..
