How do i delete Visitor Messages in my Profile?

I have a number of random Visitor Messages that I would like to remove. I tried to delete some in the past but they still appear in list form and show as deteted.

We don't have permanent delete on here anymore, for posts or anything except pms, so they are deleted but kinda still there in the background.

If you want, you can turn off visitor messages in your user cp.

If that's the case can I undelete the other ones then so they appear as originally posted?

I was trying to keep things clean and delete the posts that should have been PM's.
