300/440/550 How do I remove a PJS prop on a F15 thunderjet (think it is the same as 440)

I need to know what direction (clockwise or counter-clockwise) to remove the prop.

I am also wondering if I should apply heat to the prop, the shaft, or both when removing.

Counterclockwise, lots of heat and you need a tool to hold the shaft with and a tool to remove the prop.
