How Do These Reeds Look?

These are part of a boysen intake mani I have, I am unsure of the age, but it's not new. I can only assume the reeds are original, as most seem to have different looking ones. I'm curious as to whether I should replace them.

The shortertest set of reeds doesn't sit flush, and I was thinking they were to be totally flush when resting. And as you can see in the last pic one corner has a tiny chip next to my thumb. I posted a couple pics, what do y'all think?

Yeah, they weren't frayed or anything but I'm always a better safe than sorry especially with a pricey long block. Might be cheap insurance to buy new, I just wasn't sure if they were supposed to sit flat or not

Since you are spending money on the new TPE, just buy replacement reeds. $130 is small compared to what it could cost if those reeds end up falling apart.
