650/X-2 How much do I cut off OEM SXR prop when putting in X-2 pump?

I'm putting a OEM SXR 800 prop in a stock 650 X-2 pump housing. How much do I machine off the back if the prop?

I had mine cut back -5mm- in addition to a R&D afterburener core sleeve kit, You will need a spacer to make a core sleeve kit work . Raddudesfi.com has what you need should you go that route.

I think you have to machine the splines on the prop or the drive shaft as well.

I have one that's been cutback for sale if you're int. Bought but sold my x2 before swapping. Like new condition

I installed one on my x2 pump with no machine work. Delete spacer add washers and boom. Been running all season with zero issues.
