how much should a SJ lean when floating?

the right side sinks about 1 inch below the bond line.

I am justifying this by saying its the battery making it lean so much.

the only reason I am worried is the exaust issue you have with the revs. I am praying that I got it sealed tight enough:bigeyes:

I cant remember, does a stocker lean this much or does the heavy OEM pipe level it out. I have a super light battery and mine still has the mean lean????????

I think part of it is the stock pipe leveling it out. The lean on yours looks normal.
The exhaust tube should not "fill" with water. The exhaust tube angles upward. Water inside the tube will be no higher than the water level on the outside of the ski. I'm not sure if thats a factor. My FX1 has no lean.

mine leans really badly too. as soon as put it in the water after i refoamed it, it leaned. even if i missed a spot sealing it up, it wouldnt be a leak big enough to water-log the entire right side. i mean as soon as it touched the water it leaned. oh well.

Aftermarket pipe is a lot lighter than stock exhaust, it will make the ski lean severely to one side.
Its normal.
