You can cut the stock head .045, then re-cut squish band @ 14 degrees and use a OD of 3.220 and .002 step.
Use a late model bridged head off a '98-up Superjet.
Use a 62T OEM Yamaha gasket from Yamaha.
Mark, You can't get a stock head down to .045, if you cut the squish band to the piston bore size, as the OEM gasket from Yamaha is .052.
Now if you machine the top of the cylinder block and lower the deck height then you could get it to that spec.
The stock piston deck height is about -.012 down.
A stock 61x cylinder block should measure 4.682-4.684.
