Possibly polyester based resin? It delaminated quite nicely.

Yea,that is what l think polyester.Bought at the local advance auto store.

This was done by a local Yamaha dealer, marina. The whole area was cut out to accept the hold. When l first started pealing off the turf,l thought "wow, these holds are flush with the tray!" But as l got into it more,l realized what had been done. The 5 mil cloth wasn't even wetted out, being some of it was still in the cloth stage. The first time the owner came down hard after a jump, the footholds were cracked and allowing water into the hull. Most of the hold removal l did,was done with a putty knife and multi tool scraper.

So the plan now after the "simple" turf job is to cut another section out of the front of the tray and sides. Now l will defoam,5200 all the water, cable tubes, and exhaust exit areas, polystyrene foam and build back.Just going to a little creative on the making some lip areas for the holds to catch on to on the reinstall. My plan was to lay a piece of 18 oz biax on the tray on the hole and lip it over to the surrounding area. The upright sections l will make a lip on the inside and then attach the holds to them. And yes, using epoxy this time. Then go over the entire area with more 18 oz to secure.May have some weight, but in this case,ya have too.

I think this was their first attempt. The owner said they called Blowsion and Wamiltons for help.Guess they did not listen.
