I am aware of the power this will give my LPW. As a 100 hour a summer ski will this system give me a trouble free summer. Thanks Lou
If installed properly they are just as reliable as OEM ignition.

Stay away from the single coil digital systems, not very reliable at all.
Non programmable I believe. Which means you lose one major plus point of the aftermarket ignition.

That is one thing I was worried about BUT it seems like it would make it easier to setup plus it was cheap. That said it would be YEARS before I actually bucked up the cast to buy an MSD total loss and would normally just be running an enhancer and lightened flywheel. So compared to that setup how do yout think the Jetinetics will compare? I know for sure the flywheel is MUCH lighter so that should be one posotive, along with no magnetic drag.
I wouldn't do it. Replacement parts are going to be very hard to get, support in the forums is minimal (because not many people have it/know it), and it's not as good as it could be.
I called Robert at Jetinetics and he was more than happy to answer my questions. I already bought it just wanted some input on it, when I say cheap I mean cheaper than an aftermarket lightened flywheel you really thinkg it wouldnt be better than my stock setup with an enhancer?
Well thats good to hear. I went to their site and it looks like they have a new upgraded CDI brain.
http://www.jetinetics.com/cgi-bin-j...thispage&thispage=heat.htm&ORDER_ID=287838909 So that is a BIG plus! It may be more reliable than the old KV brain.
Is the past peeps were having nothing but trouble with those. For $449 thats a good deal too! Let us know how it works out. I'm curious as to what the programability(if
any) of the new brain or what the timing curve is. They dont really give any advanced tech data.
Let us know how it installs and works out.
