I like that idea with the top of the gunwhales still the same OEM thickness, but the tray area is def wider. Nice work whoever did the job.

Is this a proven design? It appears the structural strength of the oem Box type beam has been removed. is it just solid glass layup for the bottom of the gunwales? It looks like there could be some flex at the very back of the gunwale.

was thinking ths ame thing. solid glass is not bad but it's pretty thin to handle the structure above it as well as any foot pressure against the sides.

x2 think these are great kit to get more room in tray plus watch the build video looks like a super strong set up, im goin to get these for my jet for next winters rebuild

All you do is pull the pipe out twist it 180deg and drill a hole in the bulk head lower. Giles's the old high hole and drill 3 new holes for the flange. Very easy.
