How to make a cheap internal Fuel Fill

So i was inspired by WDKfan's build up and how he made a fuel filler, i took some of his ideas and i think improved on them.

What you need:
Stock Fuel cap/threaded thing
Some fuel line

From auto store:

Flared brake line - each piece about 16" Preflared is easier and cheap

2 90 degree - thread to flare fitting

From lowes
A-197 Hose barb adapter 2 needed
A-738 pipe hex bushing 2 needed
By the pvc - 2 Inch to 1.5 inch reduction rubber coupler
2" or 1.5" Rubber cap- 2 is a little to big 1.5 is real tight ur choice

the major difference from what i used to wdkfan's was i used brake line and flare fittings because the compression fittings look like they would restrict fuel
flow. Also the Rubber coupler.

Basically when you get the parts its pretty easy to see how they go together.
I drilled out the stock filler with 2 holes for the brass fittings then sealed the fittings in with 5200. I Cut the reduction coupler about a half inch on either side so it would clear the hood. then sized the brake line- i cut it about 2 inches off the bottom and put fuel line over the brake line to the bottom of the tank.

This less then 30 bucks to build and it comes pretty nice

i like it!

do the 90's thread into the side of the fuel filler? if so, maybe teflon take would work.

That's how I did mine and the teflon worked great.
I added some JB weld on the outside just to be safe but it wasn't necessary.

Also bent the break lines towards the rear of the tank so they can suck up every last drop of fuel. Than, I trimmed them back some because I was afraid that once the motor burped I would have no chance making it to shore.

Looks nice, I had bought a reducer coupling like you have and found that I could not get my hood on even after shortening it. Also you might want to cut off the last inch or so of the brake line and put soft line on the end of the hardline then cut the end of the soft line at an angle. that is mainly just insurance for not ounching holes in the bottom of your tank.
