How to post pics in threads not as an attachment ?

you were doing it right in your previous edit. you just didn't close the link with

I use another website and just copy and paste the link they give to post a pic in a forum. I am using webshots, I know others use photobucket.

maybe that's because the X is hosting the pic? you could have another site hose the pic and link to it. The problem with that is you use up too much bandwidth pretty quickly and the pic isn't viewable anymore.

that's right, did not think about that as an example...

just edited two other thread pics and converted attachment to a pic.

hopefully someone else will benefit from this thread too....
