How to quiet a dry pipe? too loud

I have a blaster B1 with a 760cc and a dry pipe. It is too loud. Is there any way to put some sort of muffler or resonator in the exhaust hose before it exits the back of the ski? Could you inject some of the water into the exhaust hose in the rear of the ski or will this ruin performance. I had heard a rumor that some of the 4 stroke skis have small mufflers that can be used in an application like this.

thanks

I am not running a water box. Should i be. If so what recommendations.
thanks

Holey $hit. You need a waterbox. get a TDR or even stock one. What pipe are you using. You can even get a Raider waterbox and put it under the battery like some guys do.

We have made a X metal waterbox for the waveblaster I.
It's not as quiet as the stock waterbox, but is quieter than the ones for the superjet because most of the superjets have a front 2nd exhaust outlet, as we only use a rear outlet on the blaster.
It will require some exhaust pipe work to go from the end of chamber to the stock hose going back into the firewall. This waterbox will mount inline in the back of ski, under the battery box.

Thanks for the response. Chuck you have worked on a few of my ski's. Including building a motor for my brother and fixing my fathers ski. I didnt realize a waterbox would muffle the sound despite not having water running through it as in a dry pipe configuration. So the x metal water box is just a in line waterbox that will muffle the sound without any water? thanks

You still have water in the exhaust from the stinger end of the pipe, that's what helps quieten it down, or are you running completely dry?

The x-metal box doesn't do a lot to muffle sound honestly, it's one of the loudest boxes out there.

I am running completely dry. This is how i purchased the ski, i dont want it quiet but it is just too loud exspecially when i ride long distances. Should i inject water into the pipe to quiet it? If so where. Or should i just put a wave raider waterbox? I have one here in the garage.
thanks
