Freestyle Hurricane Freestyle at the 2013 World Finals

Man, I just can't get over how epic this years world finals was - not only did we have a good time hanging out with all the other competitors and racers, but we had one of the best showings in a long time. 3 Amateurs, each from a different country (1 on a borrowed boat even) all taking top 10's. I only burned maybe a tank of fuel a month this riding season, so I wasn't expecting to do well at all, but definitely did better than I expected and put together a cleaner run than I expected as well. SR pulled his side on Saturday night so he had to sit out for the Sunday event. I was real stoked to see my younger brother on the podium for Amateur Freestyle in his first year of competing! Erskine really shocked us too, taking last place in 2012, then coming back this year and pulling off a 5th.

I'm pretty sure Erskine's ski spent more time being used for test rides on Monday than it did sitting on the beach all day, with lots of positive feedback - thank you to everyone who took the time to try out our new Hurricane Hull, the feedback is very important to us!

Zero down time, skis running 100% - Needless to say, we all had a great time.
I finally got my hands on some pictures and video of us from Havasu and wanted to share them with you guys - enjoy!

being my first time at the world finals i didnt know what to expect but after derrick invited me to compete im glad i did. the ski clinic guys are an asset to the sport they produce some of the best hulls and rtr skis on the market im looking forward to working with them next season and competing on my own hurricane next time. havasu was such a great experience and everyone who rode ryans 900 hurricane on body beach monday was impressed!!
derrick jnr let me take his 1200 out a few times and that thing is a monster but handles so well and makes tricks effortless as does the 900
