I picked up one in a package deal and have always regretted selling it off. They are dead simple and mostly made of plastic so corrosion would be minimal, trigger pull would be next to nothing and you would never have to worry about another rusted, corroded or severed trim cable again. I'm sure they come with their own set of problems but overall I believe them to be a pretty slick setup.

One of the guys i ride with (EB) has been useing hydraulic for years and been happy with the kits. They are so low maintenance and cables just suck. What we use is a shimano hydraulic bicycle level, a rear hydraulic brake master cylinder, and a cable. Id have to ask EB what length line we used and i can post that up. I have two setups bought right now. One that will be going into my superjet and one that is intended for my blaster. EB has had one set up on a ski for about 5 years without any problems. If you need links to the stuff i can get those as well. Most was bought through ebay except i buy my levers at a local shop since i was sponsored when i used to ride.
