So I went out on the Schuylkill River today to mess around on the SJ. I saw a guy unloading some couches. One was a grand new Honda so I asked him if he could clock me on my X-2. He said yes so I loaded up the SJ and grabbed my X-2 and was off.

It went 48 mph not to sure how accurate it was but I think it was pretty close for the work I have done. On the way back in the fish and game commission was out in a boat and I went flying by them. I rode around for a bit and then decided to load the ski up.

As I was strapping my skis down one of the officers came up and asked me if I had a muffler on it. I told him yes and showed him. He told me that in the 20 years he has been on the water it was the most obnoxious sounding boat he has ever heard. :biggrin: I was asked never to bring it back on the river again. If I did he was going to ticket me. All and all he was cool about it but I couldn’t help but laugh when he said it. Its good he didn’t see me on the SJ because it is worse.

I just added a 3/8" fitting to a TDR/760 SJ. It should be much better now.

i think i would have gladly accepted the ticket and talked to a judge about it.he has no authority to tell you you cant ride your ski as long as you are within the law.

I can only say this one way... You guys are total idiots if you think loud is good !!

If you must be loud.. put a unmuffled straight pipe on your lawn mower and make new friends ! Hey, you can start mowing at 7:00am... its legal !!

LOL how can you hear a boat full of drunks doing 60mph coming up from behind ?? They sure as heck arnt going to hear you with thier boom box going, yelling at eachother, no one at the wheel, etc.

Saving lifes ?? I guess so... Banning jet skis on a lake for being too loud..
