I Need Help being talked into or out of this purchase.

Alright the guy that lives across the street from me just traded a fourwheeler for a 95 Blaster with a trailer. Now he wants to sell the blaster to me for $1000 with the trailer. The thing starts and runs, looks to be in pretty damn good shape. He doesnt know anything about it though, it has a few mods that I saw like a plate and a trim kit. I also dont know a ton about these skis. I would love to have it but I am trying to justify buying it with my superjet not even finished yet. What is this thing worth?

Yes and no. Although you are correct about that, my girlfriend does need one. If I have something for her to ride I will most likely be able to spend more time on the water than if she is sitting at the house.

That's a real decent price for a B1 and a trailer. They are a lot of fun. Plus, if you don't like it, you could turn around and sell it and make a few hundred bucks profit to spend on your SJ.

Well then, you answered it yourself. Get it. $1000.00 for a running blaster is a good price. They are fun to ride, you'll have a boat for your girlfriend, and you'll have this to enjoy until yours is finished.

I would say get her a standup too, my GF loves riding standups she HATES riding blasters. Especially if she doesnt ride that much, a blaster gets real old quick (for girls) when they have trouble with deap water boarding.

That sounds like a good deal to me, it would likely bring about $1500 on ebay. I will be back in Mooresville on Tuesday, I would be happy to come take a look at it and identify any flaws/aftermarket and help you make up your mind! -Kurt

ya blasters wit trailer are worth easily 1500 running... and if its good shape and depending on the mods.. you could definly sell that for few bucks profit..

Wait a second. You said it had a trim kit on it. Are you talking about a drop nozzle? If that's the case it's probably set up for racing and is a pretty good deal. Not many people put a drop nozzle on a blaster unless they are going to race.

Yes by trim kit I was talking about a drop nozzle, and I am guessing it was raced at some point because it has numbers on it. I will investigate it some more to see what kind of motor mods are done. The guy who has it now couldnt tell me anything about it cause he didnt know.
