I never liked Andy Irons. I always thought he was a terrible role model. But he was a good surfer...

He was bipolar and had some issues, but he was not a politician, he was surfer and one of the best for a long time.
He died from a heart attack and hardening of the arteries, and yes had some drugs in his system.
I am alot of things, but I always come back to being a Surfer. So being a surfer for most of my life I will remember him for his style and big airs.
Real surfers dont die we just find another break.

For those who don't know, Andy Irons was an incredibly talented professional surfer, who died from heart complications at just 32 yrs old. He leaves behind his wife and young son.

Other than his professional surfer status, I don't know much about Andy Irons, his background or what type of person he was, etc, but it always sucks when a young person's life is cut short, especially a young father.
