You are looking to buy at a peak time...

Ski looks good (fresh turf and paint) and appears to have some nice modes (pipe, footholds, scupper), yes it could be reliable with those mods, price is high IMO.

Good luck.

It is worth what you are willing to pay. $2800 doesn't seem that outrageous. It does have some nice mods, and looks clean.

Guy said motor was, ported and polished, new Wisco pistons and cylinders bored .030 over, high compression head. Said top end has about two hours on it. All the work was done by some racing boat shop in Charlotte. I'm sure I forgot some things as well.

If it is coming out of Charlotte Area, try searching for Brian Baldwin on Facebook or Tweaker on here or PWCToday, May have gone through his shop.

I went and checked this ski out and RAN as fast as I could. The pictures make it look nice, but in person there were cracks in the rattle can paint, there were cracks in the gas door cover (not a big deal), the body looked like someone had sanded it down in one spot then tried to straighten it out while they were drunk (wavy). I dont see this as a $2800 ski. Hope this helps ease your mind.

He never stated anything to me about a break-in on the motor either. Seemed like the guy who didn't really care what that was.
