Any reviews ???
Stay away ???
My brother-in-law built these during college and after school he never continued composite work, hence the name of the hull. As for what this was modeled after, a super freak circus. That was the plan but as you can see it went through some aesthetic changes. If you want more specific details then shoot me a pm.
It rides fairly well, I have ridden all 3 hulls and they each rode slightly different due to different setups. They are rather short but surprisingly do not ride nose high, actually I would prefer them to ride a little more nose high. I never rode one with a large power plant but would imagine they would flip quite easily with some power. Rolling with a limited 701 setup is quite easy.
As for construction quality, they are built well. All fiberglass vacuum bagged epoxy resin, you can tell he knew something about composites from his schooling. My largest issue with the hull are the footholds. They are too small for my feet, size 12 but if I knew anything about turfing I could probably help this situation. The tray is large and comfortable but the footholds need some attention. There are a couple other small changes I would make but these are simple setup items to address during assembly. Again if you want more details just pm me.
Lastly, if you’re interested in purchasing one it just so happens that I will be posting the yellow hull for sale here in just a few days. Let me know if you have any interest.
