Impeller finish question

I have a 9/15 hooker, with the stanard finish, that I am going to put in my B1, with a Solas Mag pump. I have everything I would need to polish it. Just wondering if it is worth the time and effort.

No. Water sticks to a shinny surface. You want the machined finish Impros puts on the impeller to break the water tension.
