Impeller help 93 Sj 701

After buying a fully modded Sj I've ripped it apart and putting it back to stock. It has a 701 .5 over but still running 650 cases/intake/reeds.
I'm trying to have as little in this ski as I can as it will be going to my nephew. It currently has a Solas sd 18 I believe I know my stock motor will struggle with it. I've got a few 15/18 from wr3 gp and Vxr pro I could put on it. I can get a Solas supra yb1500 for it for cheap (pitch isn't listed just says 90-93sj) or should I just stop being cheap and spend 1-200 for a correct pitch impeller. Thanks in advance

I don't know much about those WR3 GP's or the VXR Pros but that pitch still seems really high for a stock SJ. I think you'd be better off getting the OEM SN impeller for super cheap (http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-square-...ash=item1c4001646a:g:kMwAAOxyi-ZTY8US&vxp=mtr), or get an 08 OEM SJ Impeller (similar to a hooker and awesome for low end) and sell some of the other ones. Another option is just a simple Skat Trak impeller like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Skat-Trak-I...ash=item33af809c60:g:L-gAAOSwk1JWgvKe&vxp=mtr. It would be better than the OEM SN impeller and still under $100. Another thing is, with those steep impellers you have, its gonna struggle down low but itll be a rocket at top speed. Personally, theres nothing more frustrating than an underpowered(struggling) ski down low, makes it nearly impossible to pull out of a fall. Depending how young your nephew is and if hes ever ridden stand ups before, if it were my nephew I'd rather him have tons of brap down low and not catch him flying across the lake at 50+mph lol. Im no guru in jetskis by any means, just my 2 cents.

Thanks for your input my nephew is 15 and has lost interest in buying one I think he just wants to ride one of mine which is fine by me. I dug deeper on my current impeller it's a Solas 14.5/18 yb sc 1 so it's not an ideal impeller but better then stock and according to one of there charts it should work on a stock to limited ski. I tried to sell it for $1600 and no luck so I'm just going to keep it. I probably won't take it out for a few months once I do if it doesn't have any low end I will just buy a hooker 9/15 or 08+ oem
